I was born in Posio and have spent most of my life in Finnish Lapland. Growing up surrounded by forests, lakes, rivers and national parks created a lifelong connection to Arctic nature and the outdoor traditions that are still part of everyday life in the North.

For more than 13 years, I have worked in the tourism industry in Lapland, helping visitors discover the landscapes, culture and unique way of life that make this region so special.

Over the years, I worked my way up to become the Chief Operating Officer of one of Lapland's largest safari companies, managing operations, guides and guest experiences on a large scale. The experience taught me a great deal about tourism and what makes an unforgettable day for visitors.

But it also helped me realise something important.

My favourite moments were never behind a desk.

They were the moments spent outdoors with guests — sharing stories around a campfire, helping someone catch their first fish, watching their first Northern Lights or introducing them to places that had been part of my own life since childhood.

In autumn 2025, I decided to start my own journey and create experiences my own way.

Today, every tour on this website is guided personally by me. When you book an experience, you're not joining a large operation or being assigned to whichever guide happens to be available that day. You're spending the day with a local Laplander who genuinely wants to share his home region with you.

My philosophy is simple:

Create the kind of experience I would want for my own family and friends visiting Lapland.

That means:

In addition to guiding, I am also the founder of Evigo Oy, a media production company specialising in photography, video production and storytelling. This creative background influences many of my tours, where atmosphere, timing, light and meaningful moments are often just as important as the destination itself.

Professional photography is included in many of my experiences, allowing guests to focus on enjoying the moment while authentic memories are captured along the way. I have also worked as an international DJ and entertainer for more than 30 years, performing for travellers, private groups and events throughout Lapland.

Outside work, family is an important part of my life. I share my everyday life with my partner Saana, our children and our two cats here in Rovaniemi. Whether it's exploring nature, enjoying a campfire or simply spending time together outdoors, many of the things I love most about Lapland are the same things I enjoy sharing with my guests.

Whether we're searching for the Northern Lights, fishing on a frozen lake or exploring one of Finland's beautiful national parks, my goal is always the same:
